Export stock and movements (Excel, CSV, PDF)
What you will have: You get the stock report or the movements ledger as Excel, CSV or PDF, with your filters.
Stock can be shared with the accountant, a partner or a supplier without retyping anything.
Before you start
Why this matters
Your accountant, your bank or a partner asks you for the stock position on a given date. The export produces it as Excel, CSV or PDF, with the filters set on screen, and large files arrive by email.
Summary
Genuka exports the stock report and the movements ledger as Excel, CSV or PDF, keeping the filters you set on screen. An inventory is exported as Excel, and a transfer is printed as a PDF. Large exports are prepared in the background and then sent by email.
What can be exported, and from where
| Document | Where | Formats |

The Stock entries and Losses & damage lists have no export in the dashboard.
Steps: exporting the stock report
- Catalog › Inventory & Stocks (
/stocks). First set your filters (warehouse, batch, quantity alert) or a search: the export keeps them. To export a delivery, filter on its Batch: the export only keeps the items that have at least one batch with that number. The period chosen above the list (start and end date) only applies to the indicators: the export does not use it. - More options › Export.
- Choose the format: Excel, CSV or PDF.
- Set the stock-specific options:
- Only warehouses with stock (ticked by default);
- Warehouses: all by default, or a selection.
- Choose the columns, then start the export.
The file contains one line per batch: identifier, warehouse, title, item unit price, quantity, expiry date, production date, batch number, creation and update dates.
Steps: exporting the movements ledger
- Inventory & Stocks › More options › Stock movements ledger.
- Filter by type, direction, warehouse and period.
- More options › Export, choose the format, then start the export.
Large exports
Under 500 lines, the file downloads immediately. Beyond that, the export is prepared in the background and you receive an email with a download link, valid for 24 hours.
Edge cases and common mistakes
- The export does not contain everything. A filter or a search is still active on screen: clear it before exporting.
- Some warehouses are missing. The export only covers the warehouses your account can access, and the option Only warehouses with stock drops lines with a zero quantity.
- Nothing is downloaded. The export went to the background: watch your mailbox.
FAQ
How do I get the list of my out-of-stock products in Excel? Export the stock report with the option Only warehouses with stock unticked, then sort on the quantity column. Or first filter the list with Below quantity alert › Below the threshold.
Can I export the stock value? Yes. The stock report export gives, batch by batch, the quantity, the unit selling price, the batch purchase price, its sale value (quantity × price) and its cost value (quantity × purchase price). The last line totals the quantities and both values, following the filters set (warehouse, batch): filter on a delivery to get its value. A batch with no purchase price has no cost value.
