Three years of opening outlets, one at a time

Born from a tweet in 2018, the crêperie now serves Douala and Yaoundé and handles most of its orders in conversation.

The starting point

Orders arrive all day on WhatsApp, from two cities, across three different activities — counter sales, delivery and catering. Handled by hand they get lost, delivery slots overlap, and by month end nobody can say which product actually carried the business.

What was put in place

Every WhatsApp conversation becomes an order in Genuka, attached to the right outlet and the right customer. The four channels — Douala, Yaoundé, catering and the online shop — live in one console, with accounting built as sales happen and an automation handling follow-ups.

How we work with them

Thirty-one months of partnership, one of the very first Genuka accounts. We opened their four outlets as they grew — Douala, Yaoundé, catering, the online shop — trained the team of eight, and added what they were missing as they went: attendance check-in, document templates, invoicing, loyalty programme.

  • Four channels — Douala, Yaoundé, catering, online shop — opened one at a time as they grew.
  • One shared inbox for the team of eight, instead of that many separate phones.
  • One automation running continuously, handling follow-ups with no manual step.
  • Accounting that builds itself as sales happen, with no re-keying.
