The starting point
A menu running from Kribi shellfish to Youpwé fish, taking in champagnes, buffet menus, cocktail packages and breakfast: a whole menu to keep current, plus a catering arm selling the same dishes under different rules.
My previous system had crashed and I was left with a real invoicing problem. Today, Genuka is my invoicing and management solution for Café d'Afrique — reliable, and I no longer lose anything.
What was put in place
The restaurant and the catering arm are two separate outlets sharing the same menu, sliced into 25 collections. Phone orders are entered in the same place as table service, and stock is tracked across three warehouses.
How we work with them
Twelve months of partnership. We took their menu item by item and organised it into twenty-five collections, split the restaurant and the catering arm into two outlets sharing it, configured three warehouses from fresh produce to wine, and trained the team of five.
