Invoices & Document, invoices and delivery notes in your brand

Essential10 minChecked on 11/3/2026

What you will have: You print an invoice or delivery note from a chosen template, from the order page in Genuka.

Documents handed to customers and delivery people carry your branding, with no need to touch up each document by hand.

Why it matters

An invoice or a delivery note is often the only document the customer keeps from you. The Invoices & Document app offers a gallery of document templates, lets you adapt them, and prints them as PDF with the real data of the order, directly from Genuka.

Summary

Invoices & Document is a free app from the Genuka App Store (app-invoice.genuka.com). It manages templates for six types of documents, and adds the "Print a document" action on Genuka's order, invoice, delivery and expense pages.

Prerequisites

  • The app installed from the App Store (see "Install and manage an app").
  • To adapt a template beyond picking one from the gallery: some HTML knowledge, or the help of an integrator.

Document types

Type (app filter)Used from
OrderAn order's page
InvoiceAn invoice's page
DeliveryA delivery's page (delivery note)
ExpensesAn expense's page
Product returnNo shortcut in Genuka for now: the template exists in the app
CustomersThe bulk actions of the customer list

Steps

1. Choose your templates

  1. Open the app from My apps. The list of your templates is displayed, with a filter by type.
  2. Click New invoice. The "Select a template" gallery opens.
  3. On the template you like, click Use this template.
  4. In the "Template information" window, give a Template name, choose one of your real orders in Data to preview for the preview, then Use this template. The template is copied into your templates.
  5. Repeat for each type of document you need (an order template, a delivery template…).

Create a blank template starts from an empty page, for an integrator.

2. Adapt a template (optional)

On a template in your list, click Edit. The screen shows the template code on the left, the preview (Preview) on the right with the data of the order chosen in Use data from an order. Edit the text, then Save.

The logo comes from your Genuka company page. Colors, notices and layout are written in the template's HTML code: there is no visual editor.

3. Print from Genuka

  1. Open an order (or an invoice, a delivery, an expense) in Genuka.
  2. Click the app shortcuts button, then Print a document.
  3. The app opens and shows all your templates of the matching type, filled in with this document.
  4. Click Print under the template you want: the PDF downloads.

Edge cases & common errors

  • No template is shown when printing. You do not have any template of this type yet: add one from the gallery (step 1).
  • You have to choose the template at each print. The app has no default template; keep a single template per type if you want to go fast.
  • The document is not sent to the customer. The app produces a PDF to download; send it yourself afterwards (WhatsApp, email).
  • The document title is in the wrong language ("INVOICE"). Some gallery templates mix French and English: pick another, or edit the title in the template.
  • The interface mixes languages. Some labels of the app ("Invoices", "Name", "Model", "Editor", "Preview") are not translated, and the shortcuts button shows "App shortcuts" in Genuka.
  • The "Customers" template in the gallery is empty. Start from another template or have an integrator write it.

FAQ

Does the app replace Genuka's standard documents? No. Genuka's usual documents stay available; the app adds your own templates alongside.

Can I add my logo? Yes, templates take the logo from your Genuka company page. Update it in the company settings.

Is the app paid? No, it is free.
